5 recipes to include your supplementation in

Protein shake, yes. Just protein in shakes, no. Here we leave you 5 different recipes in which to include your powder supplementation. Also, if you use flavored protein you can give a curious touch to your dishes, so… hey kitchen, chef!

Yogurt dessert with strawberries

Ingredients:

  • A greek yogurt
  • A cup of frozen strawberries
  • a scoop of protein

Elaboration:

Obviously it can be prepared with the fruits you want and with the protein flavor that you like the most, and you can use the same flavor for both (strawberries and strawberry protein, frozen bananas and banana protein), combine two different flavors or add unflavored protein.

Before freezing the fruit, we cut it up and leave it in the freezer overnight; The rest we can prepare at the moment only with a blender. First put the chopped and frozen fruit in the glass and pass it through the blender until it has a creamy texture. Then we add the Greek yogurt and the protein ladle and pass it all through the blender again so that it is integrated. It only remains to serve and decorate with more pieces of chopped fruit.

Cottage cheese protein muffins

Ingredients:

  • 250 grams of cottage cheese or beaten cheese 0%
  • a scoop of protein
  • A ladle (or one and a half) of oatmeal
  • One whole egg and one white
  • A packet of chemical yeast

Elaboration:

To make these cupcakes we will need an oven that we will preheat to 180 degrees while we prepare the recipe. In the glass of the mixer we introduce the cottage cheese or beaten cheese, the egg and the white and we begin to beat. Little by little, so that everything is well integrated, we are incorporating the oatmeal, the protein (incorporate it slowly so that there are no lumps) and the yeast.

When we have obtained a cream (we can add a little water or milk to find the right consistency and not look like a lump) we introduce it into the muffin tins without filling them to the top, because they will rise with the yeast. We put them in the oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes or so and ready!

Protein pancakes

Ingredients:

  • Two eggs
  • a scoop of protein
  • Half a ladle of oatmeal
  • To garnish we can use yogurt and chopped fruit

Elaboration:

Possibly the easiest recipe in the world when it comes to consuming protein in a different way, and one of the richest. We put all the ingredients in the blender glass, we beat, and we put a small amount in the pan, more or less so that it covers the entire surface. As soon as we start to see that little bubbles are coming out of the mixture, we can turn it over so that it is done on the other side: be careful because it is a matter of seconds, it does not take long to be done.

You can serve them with yogurt on top and with chopped fruit such as bananas, kiwis or strawberries.

Protein jelly with fruit

Ingredients

  • two cups of milk
  • a scoop of protein
  • An envelope of neutral gelatin
  • fruit of your choice

Elaboration:

Another super simple but very tasty recipe that we can prepare with milk or water. Pour the milk into a saucepan and heat it without letting it boil. Then we remove it from the heat and add the gelatin and stir non-stop until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Once achieved, we add the protein scoop and dissolve it equally.

We take some molds and fill them with the mixture without reaching the edge, since we are going to introduce the chopped fruit. We put them in the fridge and leave them overnight, and the next day they are ready to eat.

Peanut sauce and sweet protein to snack on

Ingredients:

  • A cup of peanut butter
  • A tasteless Greek yogurt
  • a scoop of protein
  • a splash of milk
  • A few drops of vanilla essence

Elaboration:

We put the peanut butter in the blender glass together with the Greek yogurt and beat until we have a cream. Then add the protein ladle and mix slowly; If we see that lumps remain or that the protein is not fully integrated, we add a splash of milk to give a smoother texture. To finish we can add a few drops of vanilla essence and sprinkle a little cinnamon on top.

And we already have a very rich sauce that we can use to eat with pieces of fruit, such as apple. It can be an original appetizer at home meetings if we present it in a similar way to hummus and crudités: we simply place the protein sauce in a bowl, and around two or three sliced apples.
